Emmett Kyoshi Art Hosts Fifth Solo Art Exhibition, My Paint V
Emmett Kyoshi Wilson, 18, is an award-winning Artist and Inclusion Pioneer advocating for people with unique abilities through his art. As a Chicago-based artist with Down syndrome, Emmett has created over 95 abstract pieces featured in four gallery showings over the last six years, donating $100,000 and counting to local and national philanthropies.

My Paint V features new works over the last four years with a few of his early originals to signify ability and highlight inclusion. With an entrance fee of $25.00, the first 100 guests will receive a new Emmett Kyoshi T-shirt upon entry.

Throughout Kyoshi’s exhibition, there will be a silent auction of an original Matthew Hoffman x Emmett Kyoshi Art collaboration, signed artist proofs for sale and limited edition merchandise. All entry and merch proceeds will benefit the National Down Syndrome Society and Greater Chicago Food Depository.

His internationally acclaimed art is available for purchase as originals and signed giclée or canvas prints. As an artist whose mission is to spread messages about inclusion and ability, Kyoshi’s Mantra echoes the words of Dr. Seuss: "Why Fit In When We Are Born to Stand Out."
A huge thanks to our supporters for spreading Emmett’s message of ability and inclusion. Thank you to the You Are Beautiful Project, Do312, 93.3 XRT, Vibrant Cast Studio and Gallery, Art & Science, Hair Cares and Printlab Chicago.
